Soaking, treating and washing as soon as possible, is important for stains. If you leave it too long, those stains could set in!
Wash inside out
A top tip for printed t-shirts, jumpers and fabrics that are likely to bobble, is to wash the items inside out! This will help to keep the prints and fabric in good condition by minimising the friction during washing.
Drying your kids clothing
Drying your kids clothing naturally is always going to prolong their life, but sometimes those chilly days mean the tumble drier has to be switched on. Just make sure you pop the printed items aside, to dry elsewhere and turn other items that are likely to bobble, inside out! A heated airer is a great way for drying those clothes without frazzling them in the tumble drier.
Pilling on clothing (Bobbling)
Pilling on clothes can be avoided to an extent by washing your clothing items inside out, limiting the amount of friction on the outside of the items. You also want to ensure that you are not overfilling your washload and washing at the appropriate temperature.
